2008 Takatu Merlot, Cabernet Franc

This dark purple wine has aromatic richness of floral aromas and the sweetness of ripe dark fruit of blackberries, loganberries, black plums and rich chocolate. The palate is multi layered with fruit flavours on a backbone of velvet smooth tannins. A full bodied structured wine, it goes well with food, the ideal partner to meaningful celebrations. It will continue to evolve for 5 -7 years from harvest.
